Modern Cupids - Design to decorate a wall was painted by the male artist Hans Makart. The version of the work of art measures the size 80 x 149 cm - frame: 118 x 184 x 10 cm. Oil reproductions on canvas was applied by the Austrian painter as the medium of the artpiece. Signed and dated lower right: Hans Makart 1868 was the artwork's original inscription. For the first time Makart used photography easier for his concepts and ideas and to visualize faster. He painted the three replicas of the "Modern Cupids" (see. Frodl, Makart, 2013, cat.
